Over the Counter Medicines

You may be aware that GPs have been asked not to give out prescriptions for medicines for dry eyes/sore tired eyes or conjunctivitis when it can be bought over the counter at pharmacies or supermarkets.

Locality Pharmacists working with the CCGs in Humber Coast and Vale have asked if we could help raise awareness of these changes with local opticians and for help in reducing requests from patients.
